Charger is a brand new locomotive built by Siemens, for US rail network. It is being adopted by major operators in the USA and Canada to replace aging fleet of passenger locomotives.
Charger project was made as a part of Railway 2 USA extension for Cities Skylines, as a community project. In addition to engines, brand new ‘Venture’ coaches were also made.
In order to nail the accuracy, I consulted an actual train engineer who is driving American version of Charger. His feedback was used to improve the 3D mesh and technical statistics.
